Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what data DriveLex does — and does not — collect when you use the DriveLex mobile application (“DriveLex” or the “App”). References to “I,” “me,” or “my” refer to the independent developer of DriveLex.
DriveLex does not collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, precise location, Apple ID, or payment information. The App does not use advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or third-party tracking tools. Preferences and cached content remain on your device and are not uploaded to my servers.
DriveLex may generate a random, anonymous app identifier that is stored on the device. This identifier is not linked to your identity and is used solely to enforce the Terms & Conditions, prevent abuse, and protect public safety. It is not used for tracking, advertising, analytics, or profiling, and it is not shared with third parties. This identifier may persist across app reinstalls via iCloud synchronization or backup.
If you purchase a subscription or other in-app content, payment is processed by Apple through your App Store account. I do not receive your payment details. Apple may provide me with an anonymous transaction receipt for the limited purpose of verifying purchase entitlement. These receipts do not include personal information such as your name, email address, or payment method.
If you have enabled “Share with App Developers” in iOS settings, Apple may provide anonymized crash or diagnostic information. This information is used only to identify bugs, improve performance, and enhance app stability.
DriveLex may display content from third-party providers, such as map tiles or public traffic-camera feeds. When your device accesses these services, the third-party provider may independently receive standard technical information such as IP address or request timestamps. DriveLex does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services, and you should review their respective privacy policies.
DriveLex is not directed toward children under the age of 16 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal data, please contact me so appropriate action can be taken.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App and become effective upon posting. Continued use of DriveLex after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Terms And Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before downloading, installing, or using the DriveLex mobile application (“DriveLex” or the “App”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. References to “I,” “me,” or “my” refer to the independent developer of DriveLex.
All content, features, design elements, and functionality of DriveLex are owned by me and are protected by United States and international intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit any part of the App without prior written consent.
DriveLex is licensed to you on a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable basis. This license permits use of the App for lawful, informational purposes only. Use of the App is subject to compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
You agree not to use DriveLex in any manner that is unlawful, misleading, harmful, or unsafe. This includes using the App to harass, intimidate, stalk, threaten, or interfere with any individual or group, including first responders or public-safety personnel. You further agree not to use the App to locate, follow, interfere with, or arrive at active emergency scenes.
DriveLex is provided for informational purposes only. The App is not an emergency-response tool and must not be relied upon for dispatching, navigation to incidents, situational awareness, or operational decision-making. Information displayed by the App may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. In the event of an emergency, you should contact emergency services or follow instructions from official authorities.
DriveLex may display information obtained from third-party or public sources. I do not control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party information, and I assume no responsibility for reliance on such content. Use of third-party content is subject to the terms and policies of the respective providers.
You are responsible for maintaining the security and proper operation of your device. Jail-breaking or rooting your device may prevent the App from functioning correctly. You are also responsible for any data, cellular, or roaming charges incurred while using the App and for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and regulations.
Harassment, abuse, intimidation, stalking, or conduct that endangers others is strictly prohibited. I reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate access to DriveLex at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason, at my sole discretion. This includes conduct that creates legal, safety, or operational risk, even if such conduct occurs partially outside the App. DriveLex is provided as a revocable license, not a right.
If access to the App is terminated, you must cease use and delete the App from your devices. Refund requests for eligible purchases may be submitted directly to Apple in accordance with App Store policies. I do not process payments or issue refunds.
DriveLex is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I make no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App and take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of DriveLex after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
